BreadWoodWater is a branded meta commentary on materiality, elevating found objects to "premium products" through arrangement, presentation, and designation of extreme value. As a disruption to designer culture, this collection acts as a contemplation on the ephemeral designs of the natural world when unaltered. These items were each found, refined, and curated in what is now Los Angeles, the ancestral land of the Kizh nation (otherwise regarded as Gabrieleño-Tongva).
Though this exercise is conceptual, the objects themselves are available to purchase. All interested parties may reach out for inquiry, payment, shipment, and COA. 100% of all profits will go directly to remnant tribal and indigenous organizations such as the California Tribal Fund, the Tongva Taraxat Paxaavxa Conservancy, and the Sacred Places Institute to support land preservation and cultural propagation.
